Respect for the hair is extremely important in our salon and we take great measures not to destroy your hair. Our stylists are extremely experienced and talented, know how to listen as well as be able to offer creative suggestions to help in designing a masterpiece coiffeur. Our goal is to look at the long term health of your hair with color, extensions, and planning how to grow it or keep it looking as nice as it can possibly be. The Italian Way

I just got back from Italy. I was invited to Palermo, Sicily training with the best hair product and stylists in the world to bring back the best state of the art hair extension product there is. I was included in some ground breaking technology design. Read on at the bottom of this page for more information.

Hair Extensions: In our salon, we offer several methods of hair extensions. We keep current on the latest advancements in hair extensions. Kim is always researching and testing new products and educating herself and staff on new methods when they come out in order to offer the very best possible for each client. We offer several different methods and brands of hair extensions as well, we customize our technique and color scheme for each client because everyone has different hair with specialized needs. The stylists:

Kim Lake is an educator, color specialist and hair extension artist with over 26 years experience in hair. Kim has worked and trained with some of finest hairdressers from around the world, like Giuseppe Franco and Cristophe from Beverly Hills. She has been an educator and show stylist for L'Oreal Professionell. She has a salon in the Seattle area in Federal Way, and once a month, she travels to LA, Bevery Hills, and Orange County and does private clients. Kim is also expanding to New York. Stephanie Beekley has trained and worked and traveled with Kim for close to 4 years. She has undergone the high demands of Kim's training and tough scrutiny from all the salon clients. Stephanie was a top student in her beauty school. She is one of the few who has knack for hair and a natural eye for detail. She is innovative and helps with the design of new techniques. She is good at listening and explaining and helping educate clients on the best ways to care for their hair. Stephanie strives for perfection.

Our salon is in a private area of a commercial district located centrally between Seattle and Tacoma Washington in the city of Federal Way. We have all private rooms and private parking. During your stay, we offer beverages and lunch if you have to stay awhile.

The Sicilian Artisan Way

Important note from Kim I just back from Sicily. I spent 10 days learning state of the art Ultrasonic Cold Fusion technology developed in Italy and the new generation of hair extension line by Ubaldo Giambertone. The family has been processing the finest grade European line of remi hair for five generations. They invited me to learn about the product so that I will be the American distributor and educator for Giambertone hair. I spend time with with the elder father, Arnoldo learning the ancient processing techniques for the hair. I was offered a job because of my exceptional feel for the hair. What they do there is so perfect. I helped in the development of a new machine and technique that make invisible hair extensions. Single hairs even, for very fine hair. I was offered the very first beta machine to take back here to America. Lets get it perfected first. Its so new new that they must still tool the machine for American electricity standards I told them. I have used other Ultrasonic technology but this was fast and impressive. I believe it stomps all over the competition. The European line hair for hair extensions in the best in the world. They supply to all of Palermo in Sicily, major cosmetic companies around the world for their research and development lab for over thirty years. The hair is resold under different names all over Italy, used by wig companies for theater, film. This hair is the gold mine of hair that I have ever seen and I buy everything from everywhere so I know the quality. They were indeed impressed with my designs and they will be making the custom color blends for me too. I showed them how to do it on their factory machines. This is the absolute best hair extension product in the world and its not even available in the United States yet except through me. Our hours are flexible. Generally, we work from Tuesday through Saturday from 10am to 7pm.
